Russian Flavor Street
As the first avenue of the city, it was constructed 100 years ago when Dalian commenced its construction.
This street, which epitomizes 19th century Russia, was created to add an exotic touch to the seaside city. Visitors can explore this 430-meter-long street on foot or on a jingling carriage. Numerous duty-free shops, supermarkets, antique stores and painting shops sell East European goods. For entertainment, Russian artists dazzle the crowds with their skills in acrobatics, ballet and love ballads. And as a culinary bonus the street is packed with Russian, American, Italian, French and Portuguese restaurants. Russian Street is about 1000 m north of the Zhongshan Square, and not far away from the Tianjin Street shopping circle.
