Dali is an amazing ancient city mainly inhabited by Bai minority in Yunnan Province. It has a long history of more than 1000 years and once served as the capital city for Nanzhao Kingdom during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and the capital city for Dali Kingdom during the Song Dynasty (960-1279).

Erhai Lake

Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. The Three Pagodas are located at the foot of Yingle Peak of Cangshan Mountain at the northwest suburb of Dali Ancient City.
