A.Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum

The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in Xi'an are known as "the Eighth Wonder of the World" and listed in the World Cultural Heritage List. Believing that he would continue to rule his country after his death,Emperor Qinshihuang (the First Emperor) ordered his subjects to build a magnificent underground palace. Hundreds of thousands of people worked 17 years to complete it. The warriors and horses were sculptured to protect the tomb of Qinshihuang. Over 7,000 individual pottery soldiers, horses,chariots and weapons have been identified in the three pits

B.City Wall

Located in the central area of Xi'an city, the Xi'an City Wall is an extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure. The City Wall stands 12 meters high, 12-14 meters wide on the top, 15-18meters thick at the bottom and 13kilometers in length. It is not only the best-preserved ancient city wall that has survived in China, but also one of the largest and most complete ancient military systems of defense in the world.

C.Farmer's Paintings

Huxian farmer’s painting is a kind of folk-art unmatched in the Chinese art field. The drawing style of Huxian farmer’s painting is boorish and unconstrained. Its compositionis innocent and straight forward and its filling of colors on a sketch is surprisingly magnificent and quaint. The paintings are all full of fresh living breath.

D.The Banpo museum

Banpo Museum was built in 1958 and is the first museum built for a 'mankind site,' a habitation site of early man. The site marks a settlement that dates to the matrilineal clan commune period of the Neolithic period. Before its discovery in the twentieth century, it had been lying in wait for some 6,000 years.

E.The Bell tower

The Bell Tower is located in the center of the downtown area. It houses a bell which was originally used to strike time every morning in ancient times. Now, it has become the symbol of Xian.
