The Terms and Conditions below govern the relationship between you, our distinguished clients, and us, TimeInChina.com. By booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.

- Upon receiving your booking request, one of our travel consultants will start to assist you in building a pleasant travel plan according to your special requirements and interests within 48 hours.
- The reservation deposit of USD200 per person from you should be paid by check or cable transfer upon your confirmation. The transfer charge is on your own. The reservation deposit charge per person is included in your total tour quotation. We will deduct the reservation deposit charge from the total quotation when you send the next payment. A reservation for your tour will not be considered firm until the deposit is received. By sending the deposit, you agree to be bound by our General Terms and Conditions.
- Upon the receipt of the deposit, we'll secure your reservation and process your final booking immediately. The deposit is non-refundable and the amount is subject to change. It could possibly be higher, or lower depending on group size, and itinerary. Your personal travel consultant will adjust the amount accordingly.
- It is highly recommended that your tour reservation be made 30 days prior to the actual traveling date. A full payment by credit card is required 15 days prior to your actual arrival date.
- The entrance fees to scenic spot that listed in the itinerary.
- All means as specified in the itinerary.
- The economy-class air charges of the domestic flight or soft sleeper/seat train charge between cities as specified in the itinerary.
- The hotel accommodation is based on two persons sharing one standard twin room with private facilities in all relevant locations. If a single client requests a twin room alone, the single room supplement will be charged.
- Private transfers for you and your party as a group between airports, train stations, hotels and all sightseeing spots. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
- One private English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
- Should your tour include a cruise, then the shore excursion in groups and activities will be subject to the arrangements made by the cruise company.
- The Tibet Travel Permit application fee applicable.
- Airport Tax and Fuel Fee .
- Service Charge & Government Taxes.
- Luggage transfers between airports and hotels.
- Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance and China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance with the tour inside China.
- The International Airfare or Train Tickets to enter or leave China.
- Expenses of a purely personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone calls, optional activities, sightseeing or meals which are not included in the tour itinerary.
- China Entry Visa Fees.
- Any meals which are not specified in the tour itinerary.
- Single Room Supplement.

- A non-refundable deposit which is equal to 10% of the total tour cost is required at the time a reservation is confirmed. The balance is required 30 days before departure for your China tour. Should the tour booked within 30 days prior to your tour, full payment is required.
- We accept two ways of payment:
- 1) PayPal
- 2) Wire transfer (bank transfer)
- 3) Travel’s Check
- 4) Check (No personal check will be accepted for any payments)
In some unpredictable situations that may happen in traveling places, we sometimes do need to make changes for our arrangements. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary of your tour if flight schedule or ground transportation changes, and/or events beyond our control make such alterations. We may offer you hotel/flight/sightseeing program alternatives in the similar standard if the original service is not available. The confirmed detailed schedule will be advised by e-mail before your tour starting.
And we reserve the right to change or cancel our arrangement due to any event or accidence that beyond our control. Events beyond our control include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type for reasons beyond our control or that of our suppliers; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events.
On the other side, we understand that you might change your travel or holiday plan due to some unexpected changes.
- Before your reservation is confirmed, changes to your itinerary are happily processed free of charge. Our travel advisor will try their best to provide the most suitable tour for you.
- After confirmation, changes could be made free of charge 25 days prior your departure date.
- To guarantee your bookings (especially those of tours exceeding 5 days) and protect your budget, we do not encourage you to change much within 25 days before the tour departure. But if you do want to make changes, each alteration will incur a fee of $20.00 per request. If other service organizations (hotel, airplane, cruise, etc) are concerned, the related alternation fee required by these parties will be charged. The related written invoice or receipt which issued by these parties will be presented to you.
- No changes are accepted less than 24 hours before your departure. If the change does happen, the risen cost will be charged to the customers.
No alternation fee will be charged when you upgrade your airplane cabin or hotel room and change the hotel room type which are in the same price level.
If you want to cancel your booking or part of it, you must advise us by e-mail or by fax with your signature. Upon our getting it, you should expect to receive a Cancellation Letter within 24 hours. If you do not, then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
- The cancellation penalty will be a certain percentage of the tour price. Above 30 days before the arrival day, the penalty is 10%; 21 days to 30 days is 15%; 7 days to 20 days is 20%; 3 days to 6 days is 50%; cancellation within 2 days prior to the arrival day is 80%.
- After the tour begins, any extra charges caused by clients' changes will be added, as air cancellation fee, hotel cancellation penalty, etc. Any unused portion is neither refundable nor exchangeable.
- If the client cancels the trip, the client must notify us by mail or by fax. We calculate your refund on the day when we receive the written cancellation by Beijing time. All refunds to the client will be processed within 20 days of receipt of your cancellation.

A valid passport and necessary visas or permits are required for you traveling on our programs. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of yours. We can send you a free official invitation to assist you to obtain your visa after the reservation deposit is received, but we accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for your failure to obtain appropriate documentation.
According to the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg (44pounds) for the economy class, 30kg (66pounds) for the business class, and 40kg (88pounds) for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. For hand luggage, economy and business class passengers can take only one piece of hand luggage while first class passengers are allowed two pieces but still not more than five kilograms. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
You should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize yourselves with health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries you are going to visit or transit.
Timeinchina.com strongly recommends that you consult with your personal physician in regards to your itinerary, required inoculations and physical condition. If you have any medical condition or allergy that may interfere with your trip, you are required to complete a “Medical Waiver” and your physician must certify that you are fit to travel. Failure to complete and return this waiver to Timeinchina.com may result in cancellation of your tour without a refund. In absence of a waiver, Timeinchina.com deems that you are fit to travel
- You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment.
- Medical Exam Report within 3 months is required by Timeinchina.com for those clients above 65 years old
- We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.
- If you have any health problems, ask your doctor for a copy of your medical history should you need to consult a Chinese doctor. This information should include your name, address, insurance data, emergency contact, blood type, medical problems and prior hospitalizations, current medications (generic names) and dosages, drug allergies, and immunizations (with dates).
- For those who take special medicine on a regular basis, make sure that you carry an adequate supply for your entire trip. Carry them in the original containers to identify them as legally obtained drugs and pack them in your carry-on bag.
Timeinchina.com offers their clients the Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance and China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. Even though, we still highly suggest you purchase your personal accident insurance from your native country before you leave for China.
After the trip has commenced, No refund will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, cruise portions, sightseeing tours or any other unused service due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable (no exceptions).
Timeinchina.com reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program and to use resulting photographs for promotional purposes. Any tour passengers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify their tour escort at the beginning of the program.
Timeinchina.com makes every effort to ensure accuracy on the website and brochure; however, Timeinchina.com is not responsible for any errors, omissions or misquotes contained on this website or other promotional brochure. The contents of website and brochure could be modified without notice.
Before you join one of our trips, it is your responsibility to fully understand any risks that maybe involved in the program’s activities.
- TimeInChina.com shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond TimeInChina.com's control. Neither TimeInChina.com nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
- Many of TimeInChina.com tour packages include activities which require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. TimeInChina.com, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
- TimeInChina.com do not take any responsibilities for accidents or injuries that occur during a trip due to the unsafe or negligent conduct on the customer’s part, or through a customer engaging in activities outside of our travel programs.
- TimeInChina.com shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by TimeInChina.com.
- TimeInChina.com shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, change of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by TimeInChina.com.
- TimeInChina.com is not responsible for a client’s failure to comply with customs regulations.
- TimeInChina.com is not responsible for the theft or lost of any customer’s valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
- TimeInChina.com reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If TimeInChina.com has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, TimeInChina.com is liable for a full refund of the money received by TimeInChina.com.
- TimeInChina.com reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
- As we value our relationship with our customers, any disputes shall be settled through friendly negotiations prior to taking further formal action.
